We are happy to inform you that Cotton Association of India (CAI) is organising a Farmers’ Training Programme under the aegis of its Farmers’ Training Initiative on Tuesday, the 27th May 2025 in association with Mahaveer Ginning and Pressing at 221/3, Malkapur Road, Bodwad, Dist. Jalgaon in Khandesh region.
This is the third training programme which is being organised by CAI under the aegis of its Farmers’ Training Initiative.
This training programme is likely to be attended by about 3000 – 5000 cotton farmers.
Eminent cotton scientists will impart training and educate farmers with best practices, technological advancements, and sustainability measures in cotton farming which will help cotton farmers to increase their yield and reduce contamination.
On the occasion of this training programme, the CAI will also distribute pheromone traps and lures to cotton farmers to help them in early detection of pink bollworm infestation in their fields so that they can initiate effective and timely preventive measures to counter the pink bollworm menace.
A tentative Event Programme of this training programme is enclosed for information with a request to those interested in attending this training programme to please get in touch with CAI.
There will be a live coverage of this training programme on YouTube to facilitate thousands of other farmers to learn from cotton scientists about how to improve their yield. We shall share the link for the live YouTube coverage. We request all ginning and pressing units to save the link when received and share the same with the farmers in their areas and those associated with them for their benefit.
