70th Independence Day of our country was celebrated on Monday, 15th August 2016 on the premises of the Cotton Association of India. The flag hoisting ceremony was performed by senior member Shri. Radhamohan B. Chokhani, who also distributed the prizes to the winners and runners-up of the CAI In-door Games Tournament 2016 for carrom, chess and table tennis. This was followed up by the screening of a short documentary patriotic film of Lokmanya Tilak.
