TERMS & CONDITIONS


Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking for the Cotton Association of India’s “Cotton India 2016-17”.  When you book at our event, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

This page tells you the terms and conditions on which the Cotton Association of India enables you to make a booking for Cotton India 2016-17 on our website.

  • Payment terms: Full payment must be received prior to the event. Your place will only be confirmed once we receive your payment in full and you are sent a confirmation email stating you are registered for the event.

  • There are a limited number of places at the event.

  • The CAI reserves the right to reject any application for registration without assigning any reason.

  • Cancellation policy: Upon receipt of your registration, your place (s) will be confirmed. At this time, cancellations with result in loss of full payment.

  • Should you wish to substitute your place, instructions must be sent in writing to (mailto:cottonindia2016-17@caionl.in) before 1st December 2016. 

  • Force majeure: Any delay or cancellation to our events, by the event organisers, their servants, contractors or agents, shall not lead to the event organisers being liable in damages (and the event organisers may choose to terminate this agreement, entirely at the organisers choice) if and to the extent the contract cannot be fulfilled in full or in part, caused by any occurrence of a “Force Majeure” event.

  • For purposes of this Agreement, Force Majeure shall mean a cause or event that is not reasonably foreseeable or otherwise caused by or under the control of the Event Organisers claiming Force Majeure, including, but not limited to, acts of God, government restrictions, (including the denial or cancellation of any export of other necessary license or visas) injunctions, sanctions, fires, floods, explosions, riots, wars    / civil disturbances, major population upheavals, national emergency (in fact or law), embargo, Government or appropriations, hurricanes, significant adverse weather conditions, sabotage, terrorism, vandalism, epidemic, strikes, lock-outs and/or any other cause beyond the foreseeable control of the CAI whose performance is affected (including mechanical, electronic, or communications failure).

  • In the occurrence of a Force Majeure, event registration fees, accommodation and flight expenses etc. will not be reimbursed by the event organisers.

  • Law and jurisdiction
    Each of the parties to this Agreement irrevocably agrees that Indian law, and the courts of law in Mumbai, shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and decide any suit, action or proceedings, and/or to settle any disputes, which may arise out of or in connection with this Agreement or its formation or validity and, for these purposes, each party irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of law in Mumbai.

  • Our right to vary these terms and conditions
    We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system’s capabilities.

  • As part of the registration process, you must provide Cotton Association of India with accurate, complete, and updated information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of this agreement.

  • You are entirely liable for activities conducted by you in connection with your browsing and use of the website.

  • The website is provided on an 'as is' basis and Cotton Association of India gives no warranty that the website will be accessible by any particular browser, operating system or device. 

    Cotton Association of India disclaims liability for any damages, losses or costs incurred for damage to website user's computer resulting from downloading material from website.
