KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves of the country fell by $416 million to $18.413 billion — the lowest level since FY15 — during the week ended Feb 23, the State Bank of Pakistan announced on Thursday.
“The State Bank’s reserves in the same period decreased by $358m to $12.346bn due to external debt servicing and other official payments,” said the central bank. Similarly, the holdings of the commercial banks also witnessed a fall of $58m and stood at Rs6.068bn. (Source: dawn.com)
